James Garuga laid to rest, Museveni hails his inclusive development efforts

The late Dr. James Musinguzi Garuga, a renowned businessman, politician, and philanthropist, was laid to rest on Monday at his ancestral home in Rugyeyo, Kanungu District. Dignitaries from all over the nation—including business leaders, politicians, religious leaders, farmers, and community members whose lives he impacted—attended the burial. The Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Thomas Tayebwa, represented President Yoweri Museveni at the funeral. He delivered the President’s tribute, praising Garuga for his dedication to promoting inclusive development and for selflessly investing in the progress of others.
