EAC integration slows amid regulatory gaps

Despite the East African region growing to eight member countries from the original three—Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania—the pace of integration has been slowed down by how the new countries are domesticating the EAC regulations, especially trade regulations. NTV spoke to the directors of private sector associations on the sidelines of the Regional Industrialization Forum about how the new countries are embracing the EAC trade rules.
