Japan donates smart street system to modernize transport

Kampala Capital City Authority is in the final stages of implementing the Moderato Transport System which was donated by the Embassy of Japan. Once rolled out, Moderato will regulate traffic congestion by remotely controlling the traffic lights network around the city. However, challenges of vandalism have already started to arise. NTV gained access to the system while on a tour of Japanese supported projects in the transport system.
